Sections - You need to group your products or services by categories. Let’s say for example, for digital cameras, your categories would be: 1) Point-and-Shoot Cameras, 2) Intermediate Cameras, and 3) Professional/Advanced Cameras. You may also want to classify them by brand, model, etc.
Website Pages - The specific area you are going to cover on each page: Home page, main category and sub-category pages, product or service detailed pages, contact us page, landing pages, resources, articles, etc.
Website Design Layout
Make a big first impression, and your visitors will be more likely to buy from you. Your site must look professional, organized and inviting. The most common layout elements are:a) Header: Includes your logo, website name, and content related graphic.
b) Navigation Bar: Placed on the left or top of your site. It displays the titles of the main sections on your website so your visitors can find quickly what they’re looking for.
c) Main Body: Is where you place your content and it’s the focal point of your web page. Make your paragraphs and sentences short and to the point.
d) Footer: This is where you place links and information about your site such as Contact Us, About Us, Sitemap, etc.
Website Template - You save a lot of time when you create a template. You’ll be able to use it as a starting point every time you create a new page. It keeps the standard elements that don’t change on each of your pages like header, navigation bar and footer.
